I disagree and believe that the chef wouldn't argue this fact. It's not about if he is part of the system he hates, he never denies he is. It's about the corruption of that system he is part of. As for the chef taking their money, he certainly does but let's not forget the investors are committing fraud and thus stealing from the chef and his staff., denying them of what they deserve. Your attempt to make an argument where there isn't one. In fact, the chef is the first to burn so by no means does he attempt to take an easy way out but is right there the center of it and, despite being selfish, narcissistic and plain old -fashioned crazy, there is no doubt he believes what he is saying down to his very core.

The announcer does not once say that the adaptation of the book is not at all consistent with the film. There are too many things that were removed and certain things that were added in the film that are not in the book. To all the people asking how Gaff could've known to make a unicorn if Deckard was human--they live in a sci-fi future where all sorts of technologies exist that we know nothing about. You really think they can make exact replicas of humans but can only implant thoughts and memories in replicants? Considering the dystopian setting and Big Brother themes, id say it's a safe guess that they have multiple ways of getting into people's heads and influencing their thoughts.

The true message of the film: The dire consequence of not knowing one self and not following one’s own heart. The final performance: feltcher when he realizes he should have became a neuro bass or Break Core producer instead of a jazz band instructor. Feltcher is upset in the film because he did jazz to be classy. However his true passion is neuro bass, Break Core and smashing things. Instead of channeling his passion for fast paced break beats and heavy sound design into music, he channeled it on real people. This is the true consequence of not knowing one self and not following one’s own heart.

This storyline is hilariously bad. The genre should evolve into something more human and intelligent. Skip this nonsense.

I always found the lack of most modern vehicles easy to explain. A nuclear war would terminate the electronics that make most of them work, so the go-to is those vehicles made before electronic everything became normal in cars and trucks. You just go from there, building vehicles from the remains found in junk yards, car museums, and abandoned garages and these work to some degree better on junk gas. The military vehicles were probably deployed to cities to quell riots or destroyed in combat and, as they used modern electronics to function, whatever remained was left to rust and rot or be irradiated beyond use. With the Furiosa movie making it clear that you're in Australia, you can also account for the limited number of firearms used because many would have been destroyed prior to the wars when the Aussies gave up their guns to government regulation and confiscation schemes. With the whole Road Warrior mythos being in Australia, it also allows for lots of others to make similar movies and put them in Europe or South America, or to neatly dovetail all of them into another universe, like the Walking Dead or World War Z without too much difficulty because Australia is a considerable distance by ship and aircraft from other continents. Lots of possibilities there for an RPG.

It is weird how everyone is raving about this movie. It was extremely unsympathetic towards each of its characters, the burning smores was an end no one deserved (even if one of them might have been a child molester). I guess satire is not for me.

Two weird things about the casting in Scream. Dewey(David Arquette)and Tatum(Rose McGowan) were siblings in this movie. Three years later the actors playing those roles had an intimate relationship in another film "Ready To Rumble". The actor who played Dewey became a cop. The actress who played Tatum was a cheerleader of sorts. The actors who played Billy(Skeet Ullrich) and Sidney(Neve Campbell) were in a horror/comedy film the same year as Scream. "The Craft" Sidney was a witch that turned into a villain. Billy was a football player that was placed under a spell by one of her fellow witch friends, and later killed by another witch friend. Bet you thought I was gonna mention Gale(Courtney Cox) and Dewey getting married in real life. Who didn't know that though?

I disagree, I don't think the investors should get a say. If they don't like it, they can stop investing in it.
